Matthew Burton Fighting Extradition

This pig shown above is fighting extradition back to Maryland to face his charges for the murder of Nicole Bennett.I want him to be tried in whichever state can get the justice this case deserves and in my opinion that's the death penalty. Maryland is notoriously anti-death penalty and Delaware has been more active in the process. I know there are many against the death penalty and that's your right but the thought of this monster living 50-60 more years with us footing his bill for tv and food sickens me.

A day or two ago comments subsequent to mine seemed to suggest that Burton was defenseless and at the mercy of justice. How many times do we have to see the system manipulated to the advantage of a suspect, regardless of how horrific the crime, yet we still maintain for some stupid reason that this time the outcome will be different. We,myself included, comprise the court of public opinion. Our views count, and at times even sway the judicial system, but perps like Burton still have rights.Once again, expect him to utilize those rights to the fullest.Much can happen before he goes to trial.

So he is fighting the extradition to MD? Does this mean he wants to stay in DE? Wonderful, let him.

If he's found guilty, I like the idea of him being put in gen-pop at ECI or Hagerstown, where he can become the "wife" of some other prisoner.

The first thing they will do is break his jaw and shatter his teeth, so he can't "bite down when going down".

When his mouth is sufficiently healed and he leaves the infirmary, then they will turn him into a prag... and it will be squeal like a pig time.

A lifetime of that is certainly a worse punishment than the death penalty.

If he comes to MD, the weak State's Attorneys won't do crap. Leave him in DE. Let them prosecute and if he's guilty, let them give him the death penalty. Let them pay for it too.

The Maryland State's Attorneys can only do what the MD law allows, blame annapolis and the judges

Maybe he is innocent?

Nothing says death like "I Love Delaware". Our record shows that murderers tend to die here. Fight that extradition Matthew, we want to execute YOU.

MD has no death penalty in fact. It may be on the books and the prosecutors can get a DP conviction but it will never be carried out. And yes blame Annapolis.

If he is innocent then he has really really bad luck.
I can't think of any worse luck than to have your DNA show up on a murder victim or vice versa.

He has to be tried wherever the murder was committed.

I would have agreed that Delaware is the best state for his trial, but since deranged, demonic Dr Bradley didn't get the death penalty, I now have to question if this state will sentence it to this sick bastard. I say eye for an eye. And many people say, 'he'll get what he deserves in prison,' but it is the job of prison officials to protect all inmates. The judicial system needs to start giving what these scumbags deserve.

Yeah! maybe he felt threatened by Nicole because she wouldn't allow him around the kids alone. Maybe she seen something and was going to tell.

It's a DMV photo. The way to tell is the blue background. White for mug shots.
