Westside Volunteer Fire Department and My Family Loss
Westside Volunteer Fire Department lost a lifetime member today, but most importantly the world lost a great kind soul. Carlton Webster is my Great Uncle and one of the top 5 nicest people I have ever known my entire life. You will have to understand I'm not really in the mood to blog. When people live a good long life like my Uncle and make it over 90 years old you just are thankful they stayed around and shared some of their knowledge and wisdom with you. I remember he told me on my wedding day that the secret to a good long marriage is to never go to bed angry with each other because you never know what could happen and you don't want to leave things unsaid to the person you love. I have carried that thought with me every day since he told me and have made it a point to remember that. Thank you Uncle for everything I love you.

I had no idea you were related to Mr. Carlton. I remember him from the days I lived on the Westside and my time in the FD there. He was a wonderful may and will be greatly missed. G and I are very sorry for your loss.

Mr. Taylor,
I am so sorry for your loss. We all are diminished when the community loses one our elders. Treasure your memories of a life well lived, and be comforted.
