Ocean City you are looking at the biggest threat to hit the sandy shores, not Hurricanes something with much more hot air...the Council Majority. These 4 have no regards for following rules, and even when they are clearly broken they don't care . They were supposed to have no contact with any City Manager finalists but Joe Hall didn't care he wanted a private conversation with the guy, then when called out on the matter, the majority shrug it off like o well.
If they vote to hire the City Manager that Joe Hall talked to on the phone in direct violation of the rules, then there is nothing that they will not do to run Ocean City into the ground. I despise Dictatorships which is what you currently have in OC. People of that area that can get your voice heard, you need to support Mary Knight, Doug Cymek and Lloyd Martin in their attempts to right this sinking ship.

Jim Hall has a little bit of common sence. The other three are blooming idiots.
I live in Ocean City and I appreciate your coverage of this. And you are 100 percent right. I'm not sure why Jim Hall is siding with these three all of the time, he used to have the best interest of the town. Please keep covering OC!

1. Why have a City Manager if you have a Mayor?
2. Why have a Mayor if you have a City Manager?
3. Why even have a Council when you have a Lone Ranger like Joe Hall?
4. When will Dennis Dare announce his intent to run agains Joe Hall in the next election?

I beg you to please cover OC and it's dealings. Thank you for doing what you have so far. JA said he was going to cover OC and then he never has said a peep since. Sounds like something fishy is going on.
There should be both a Mayor and City Manager. That's why Salisbury is such a mess because the Mayor is a Dictator. Mayor Meehan has done an excellent job filling in and is a great leader. I do believe that Dennis Dare will run and beat Joe Hall. The question remains if Jim Hall will be able to get re-elected. He has been on the council 27 years and until last year did a great job. But his role in this "Majority" side of the council and some of the things they have done could cost him his seat.
