Chief Morris of the Delmar Fire Dept. says telephone landlines are expected to be out for at least 24 hrs in most areas of Delmar. He advises all to check their telephones for service now. If your service is out, Chief Morris says expect to rely on your cellphone. If you or someone you know does not own a cell phone, find any person who does in the case of an emergency to call 911

Milton police are searching for a female teen who reported missing after the Cape Henlopen Homecoming Dance on Saturday. Mayra Torres, a 16-year-old Milton resident, returned home in the early morning hours of Oct. 16 after the school dance, but then left in an unknown direction, according to police. Torres is a Hispanic female, about 5'6" and 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 302-684-8547 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
