What Does A Boat Stuck 3 Years In Florida Have To Do With Salisbury?

Well it certainly is an interesting story and one that I am helping Don Walker from Florida Today work on. The Princess Grace which was supposed to be headed to Haiti or The Carolinas is now parked at the end of the Wicomico River shown above. The weather is gong to be great this week-end and it will be a perfect time for family fun. Two events for Saturday are on the "to do" list  The antique truck and tractor show at the Redmen Lodge in Fruitland located across the Highway from the Hampton Inn and the Women Supporting Women Walk for Awareness held in Winterplace Park off Hobbs Rd in Salisbury.

The Truck show has free admission and refreshments will be on sale by the Redmen.

Immediate Attention Residents!!

Terry Cohen, Debbie Campbell and Tim Spies are trying to pull a fast one on the Citizens of Salisbury that could affect the City's Future. They want to vote Monday night on a CHARTER AMENDMENT!! without having public input or letting the citizens know until the agenda comes out Friday.

The Amendment would allow the Council to have complete control over the City Solicitor and not only that but hire additional Legal Council. Are they out of their freaking mind?? They did nothing but complain about Paul Wilber and his legal fees when Barrie Tilghman was in power and now they not only want the Solicitor but more Lawyers? WTH???  It is not and should not be the Council who has control over the City Solicitor as that has always been a function of the Mayor's Office. Why is the Council now trying to take over the Executive function as well. I can tell you right now this is the way they can finally be rid of Paul Wilber another Barrie Tilghman appointee. Personal paybacks and vendettas rule the day with the Camden three.

When will this madness stop. They are sneaking this in at the last minute and again imagine if Louise and Gary had tried to pull this stunt. Please contact the council here and tell them no.ALLCityCouncilMembers@ci.salisbury.md.us

McDermott To Continue To Double Dip?

This deserved a post of its own. If it turns out that Mike McDermott doesn't retire from the Police force what a total outrage that will be for him to get paid on taxpayer dollars to have his car sit in front of his house so he can moonlight whenever he feels like playing cop.

This is serious money we are talking about he makes, and with the budget shortfalls in other areas Mr Conservative Mikey should retire so this money can be spread to those areas.
