There will be a press conference to update the public on the Alice Davis case tomorrow afternoon at the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office.

Homeless Moving Northbound

I have noticed more and more that the homeless population is growing on the North side of Salisbury from the Centre up to Kohls. There are about 4 homeless with signs on the 13 corridor and in front of the Walmart clothes collection area. I wish we could give them a place to stay, but realize there is only so much space at shelters.

Alice Davis Tribute

Alice Davis was almost universally loved by students and the community at large, and the thought of this beautiful individual being taken and the many lives affected by this senseless tragedy puts many things into prospective.

Why Jess Davis did what he did, we may never know. The speculation was of course that Alice was ready to move on with her life without Jess being a part of it but it really makes no difference. Please remember a class of High School students that were looking forward to a new School year now have this tragedy forever part of their own lives.

Many people think of Alice's family but forget no matter what Jess did his family was not responsible for, and they are forever marked by this event as well. Jess Davis himself was the monster.  This community will miss Alice and I hope a fitting living tribute for her is made.

Assault On Drug Dealers Continues

The string of big drug busts on the Lower Shore continued in Ocean City in the past week with the arrest of 19 people in connection with the distribution of some hard core products like PCP, Crack, Coke and Heroin in the resort area.

If you really look at the number of drug busts in the area in the past 2 months alone you will see that as I stated it may not have stopped the trade but it did put a dent in the operations locally. Great job to the people involved.

Do We Need All The Details?

I have noticed many people clamoring for every tiny detail that occurred in this tragedy with Alice Davis, but the question is do we really need to know what happened to her. Sadly she is gone and I'm not sure what knowing these details would accomplish other than fulfill our morbid curiosity.

Is The City Drama Driving Qualified People Away?

With the news that Pam Oland as leaving her job as Director Of Internal services, the question must be asked is our soap opera of a City Council causing people to get the hell out of Dodge? I think the answer is yes. Pam was deliberately targeted by the Camden Trio because she was chosen by Barrie Tilghman, and if you look at the multiple department heads who have left since Debbie came into Office it is self explanatory.

This group would drive a Saint to drink so no normal person would choose to deal with them. A lifetime achievement award needs to go to Brenda Colgrove for sticking around the longest as this lady has the most to deal with from the whackos.

Who Really Is To Blame For Pocomoke's Problems?

Pocomoke seems to be the one spot on the Eastern Shore that never truly moves forward from it's past problems. Pocomoke has had numerous Mayors and Police Chiefs come and go over the years and yet no change with any of these moves. The one constant in all of this however is precisely in my opinion where the problem lies and that is in the form of Russ Blake.

As the City manager ultimately he runs the City, and for that reason all blame falls on him alone. It is time for the Citizens of Pocomoke to rid themselves of the Russ Blake problem and have someone new actually make change for the better. I mean let us not forget a big drug bust takes place in Pocomoke and the agencies involved leave the Pocomoke Police Department out of it. Think for yourself why that may be

Tracy Bayne Pled out in Court yesterday for sex abuse of a minor for abusing teenagers in his care at his foster home. If you remember his disgusting nephew Stephen Merritt pled to similar charges recently as well. I asked the question in another post recently did Mentor Maryland the company that placed these kids in their home do enough to protect these kids that were abused?
