If There is one complaint that most people jointly have, it's the amount of time they have to wait at a Doctor's appointment before they actually see a Doctor. You call make your appointment for say 11AM and yet you sit in a room full of people and not get called back until 11:45. Are Doctor's offices simply trying to earn every penny they can by scheduling a certain number of appts per hour?
I would guess most Doctors do not stay with a patient longer than about 10 minutes per visit, but to the people that are waiting their time is just as valuable so when they don't get seen for 45 minutes to an hour after the scheduled time people do get aggravated.
