Profound Sadness

20-year-old Dashawn Collins has been arrested in connection to the death of William Seaton.

Collins was pulled over while driving Seaton's car. After a search of an abandoned home on Gordy Road in Laurel - police discovered a body wearing similar clothes to those that Seaton was last seen in.

Collins and Seaton reportedly meet six weeks ago on the internet and had traveled together in Seaton's car to the parking lot of St. Paul's United Methodist Church on Old Stage Road in Laurel. There the two reportedly got into a fight - that police say ended with Collins stabbing Seaton repeatedly in the throat. Collins is facing multiple charges including First Degree Murder.

I am so very sad to come to this conclusion of this case and have it be what it is. Please pray for the family of William Seaton

Wicomico County Drug Fight Wins Another Round

Donzel Henry pled guilty to crack cocaine possession with intent to distribute and will serve 30 years in prison as part of his plea deal. The Wicomico County State's Attorney's Office and Local Law Enforcement are really doing a great job tackling the local drug market recently.

This may not stop the drugs I'm aware but it makes like just a bit more difficult for the dealers.

It Was Only Sea Foam People

I have to join with the Daily Times on this story as I was a victim to it as well. The reporter in Ocean City who became famous for this green foam covering him and subsequent rumor of it being sewage spread everywhere. I had multiple emails to go watch the video of him being covered with crap, I believed it as many other news sites had said the same but the truth is finally out it was just what it looked like Sea foam no crap added.

When Did Debbie Decide The Bricks Wasn't A Good Idea?

In my research on the Brick's property and the talk of Debbie's possible Ethics Violation on the matter I did come across something that does brings an interesting twist on the matter. When Did Debbie decide the Bricks wasn't a good idea? Was it when the partner came into play?

Debbie voted for approval of Resolution 1598 the City accepting the Bricks property shown below

This resolution discussion actually dated back to 2007 shown below

So When did Homes for America come into play? That would be March 2009 when they submitted a proposal for renovating the site

So when did Debbie start turning against it then? well that would be Sep 2009 at Resolution 1834

Now this paints a clear picture to me that Debbie was certainly on board and thought the Bricks was a worthy City venture until Homes for America gets the contract for the property and then she has concerns. This ultimately led to the entire project being scrapped recently which has brought about the controversy.
