"Grinch,
It's been quiet lately on the HSB story. It's slipped too far down on your blog and people are not talking as much. I can tell you that you created a buzz with the last story. You stirred Greg Johnson up considerably. You did not help matters when you published the picture of the HSB tent at the Tawes Crab feast in Crisfield.
Johnson has not been happy with any of this coming to light. He wants to know where your main posts are coming from and if it is being done by a HSB employee.
It appears something will happen soon and it should go to the grand jury sooner than later. There has been no foot-dragging, delays, or deal making. Investigators have a heavy backlog and have taken time to ensure this case is airtight before it goes before a judge or jury. At this time Wanda is the only one that will be indicted. There is not enough proof to indict her husband and at this point she has not sold him out.
The bank has treated this as a personnel matter and that is why you do not see public statements from HSB. They are allowing the justice system process to move forward. It is by no means a coverup as they did make it public by announcing it to the board. It just does not make business sense to further trumpet the news until an indictment is released.
Once again, I want to ensure your readers I am not covering for either the bank or the Hendersons. I only want to see justice served and I believe it will be served justly and fairly. "
