Nancy Murasco Let Go..What Really Happened?
Nancy Murasco the long time curator of the Poplar Hill Mansion was let go by the Board of Directors led by long time Debbie Campbell supporter Aleta Davis pictured below.
Nancy has been the heart and soul of that place for a long time and for the board of directors to just decide to rid themselves of her something has definitely occurred. I am digging more into this story.
115 Degree Heat Index? Do We Live On The Sun?
If the reports turn out correct and we get heat index reading of 115 degrees, I can honestly say I cannot remember temperatures ever getting that hot. Just remember the Blizzards of Jan and Feb of 2010 when you want to feel better.
Somerset County Police Much Happier These Days
I had a chance to talk to many members of Law Enforcement at Tawes yesterday and they all said how much happier their lives are with Dan Powell as State's Attorney then when they had the Hickman/Dean combo pair. They told me how they felt ignored and didn't have calls returned promptly from the former State's Attorney and her deputy. Dan returns their calls promptly and makes them feel listened to.
I knew things were bad with Kristy and Karen but when you hear it from Law Enforcement themselves it really let's you know how unhappy they were and how morale is at a much higher level now with Dan Powell running things.
Justin Hadel Not The Sharpest Tool In The Shed
Justin Justin Justin, now where did you think you were going to go? For the smug ass you were in court it seems the celled life is getting to you now. Didn't you want to stick around and prove your innocence and the fact that your a upstanding citizen? A mere choir boy wrongly accused?
Let's see you had zero remorse about killing Christine and taking her away from her children, family and friends, but the prospect of never being able to get out of jail and party again was just eating you up inside. Did you think you were actually going to escape and live the good life? you are a convicted murderer Justin they tend to hunt you sorta people down pretty quickly.
If I was one of the prisoners I would be pissed at you for now making the prison officials look more closely at possible escape scenarios, so my guess is you aren't the most loved individual (except by your cellmate) in the jail these days.
35th Annual Tawes Crab and Clam Bake Thoughts
It was a hot and steamy day at the Tawes Crab and Clam Bake yesterday, and while attendence was down due to many factors and I have to say the economy being one, the atmosphere was still the same. I was able to find a place to park near the marina so sadly the people that were trying to get 10 dollars to park in their yard lost out on me. I got our tickets at the gate and everything was flowing smooth when we arrived.
We were lucky enough to have arrived early and gotten a table in the shaded pavilion. The food was good although I did hear many people saying they didn't think the crabs were very full. I think the nice part is people share their food with others at their table. We had 6-8 other people sitting to our table and they would offer to get us stuff when they went up or offer us extra if they had brought too much back. We did as well with a full plate of crab legs given to another.
After eating I took a stroll to the area with all the hospitality tents looking for the politicians and other high rollers. I saw a few here and there and talked to several with enjoying my talk with Jim Mathias at the top of the list. I was amused at the Hebron Savings Bank Tent and the way they were partying it up with all they have going on however.
It really is a fun time and if you have never been I highly recommend it. I also want to say the local law enforcement did a really great job keeping everything under control and wanted to say thank you to them as well. I really enjoyed meeting everyone that came up to tell me they liked my site and I thank you so much for taking the time to A read it and B take the time to tell me you enjoy it. See everyone at the Crab Derby!
