Giving Credit To The Wicomico County Sheriff's Department For Yesterday

I reported yesterday about the fight in the courthouse but wanted to add that all my sources that witnessed the event told me what a great job the Wicomico County Sheriff's Deputies did keeping things in the courtrooms calm while responding to this commotion. This rarely happens in this area these things are more big city incidents so the quick reaction really did keep everyone calm in the court.

Flavors Reboot

What would you like to see Rob Mulford make the old Flavors location into? Another Market Street type place , just like Flavors? a sports bar ?

Mike McDermott One Term Representative

Mike McDermott has embarrassed the citizens of this area in Annapolis so badly with his antics that there is no way the people will re-elect him to continue to make us look bad across the bay. It is ashame the voters in Wicomico did not look more deeply at his record in Pocomoke before being fooled with his silver tongue.

He rants and raves like a maniac trying to get attention as that is the only way he has ever been able to have people even look at him. I guess when he is driving around in his new Cadillac with his delegate tags he is thinking of all his people in Pocomoke he ignored for years.
The Delaware State Police are continuing an investigation into suspicious items found just north of Fenwick Island. Hair, Fossil sunglasses, hair elastics and a shark tooth necklace were reportedly pulled from the water by a surf fisherman last Friday afternoon. If You have any information please contact the Delaware State Police at (302) 739-5901
Editors Note: I had held off reporting on this and I know it happened last week, but when I thought about it that is close enough to our area and with so many people vacationing in that area from around here it was worth reporting on my site.

I Pledge Allegiance To The Flag Of The United States Of America

The outrage over our City Council removing the pledge of Allegiance from the Rules Of Order is probably the most talked about thing happening around our area. I was disturbed with the removal of the Lord's Prayer as I felt like it was the first step in removing God from our lives but I was only joking when I mentioned the pledge being next.

It makes zero sense to remove the Pledge of Allegiance from the rules of order however. Our City is in the United States of America where the pledge is part of our Country. It means we are Americans and our Flag symbolizes our Freedom and all the sacrifice and to remove it from the Rules of Order makes it seem like Our Council is embarrassed to have it be done "Officially".

It saddens me as a Citizen and resident of the City of Salisbury to have this done as it really served no purpose. The worse part is doing it so soon after they removed the Lord's Prayer, those things combined make it look like Terry is on an all out rampage to remove God from our Government.

Terry Cohen Decides The Threat of A Million Dollar Lawsuit Gets A New Meeting

Well since she has been wasting tax payer money at a staggering rate since being voted Council President, Terry Cohen finally blinked when the Board Of Education threatened to sue the City for 1 Million Dollars for breaching the agreement on partnering to improve the Onley Road/Bateman street intersection.

That Intersection is considered by many to be the most hellish area in Salisbury at certain times because of all the foot and car traffic that congregates in that one area. I don't know what the answer is but the City is getting a bad reputation by trying to back out of these things. I guess it takes huge lawsuits like whats going to happen with the Prayer thing before Terry will realize she is wrong.

Does Jim Regret Some Choice He Made At The Beginning Of His Term?

I wanted to reword this post so it didn't look like it was aimed specifically at the fire department or Chief Simpson. The question ultimately is now that Jim has seen the true nature of Terry, Debbie and Tim does he regret any of choices he made upon his election in 2009 up to the April election's of this year.
