This is what I was referring to this morning about celebrating the good in Salisbury. The Architecture of this building is gorgeous and one we as a City should celebrate having in our Downtown plaza.

SPD Busts Some Whores

So I got the press release on Friday regarding the Prostitution bust that took place here in the Bury and was surprised there were only 4 "ladies" of the night arrested. The Whore population has gone down evidently, although I actually haven't seen many on main 13 so kudos to SPD for finding them and busting them.

The sad part was the 9 guys arrested for Solicitation. How desperate do you have to be to try to pick up a prostitute in Salisbury of all places, and let us hope these guys are not married. I can hear it now "honey I need you to bail me out" what happened are you ok? "yea I just got busted for trying to get a whore" sad times

WaWa Rivaling ESPN For Weekend Fights

Looking for a good weekend fights but don't have ESPN? be sure to head to WaWa south for some really great bouts. It seems the WaWa on South Salisbury Boulavard has become quite the location for fights to break out on the weekends.I'm not exactly sure why they choose this location for such activity but they certainly are loyal in heading to that location.

I am going to be bringing some posts into my mix that showcase some of the real beauty around our area that will maybe encourage people to choose us as a place to live. More people means more money in our local economy so the best way to start this process is show people some reasons we should be given a shot as a place to call home.

WBOC Delmarva's News Leader? Least They Have The "Del" Right

Yes I am in getting ready to bitch again about WBOC John Dearing, because obviously the message isn't getting through. WBOC has decided they want to be Delaware's news leader and I will say they are doing a great job covering everything and anything in the first state. The problem is they have forgotten us here in the Lower Shore Counties.

I want to be clear this is not aimed at the anchors, producers or behind the scenes people this is at the news director who is making the choices on the stories they cover. Saturday morning a nice crowd gathered to honor Sam Vincent with the dedication of the pavilion at the Humane Society and could WBOC be bothered to show up? of course not they weren't doing it in Sussex County. WMDT did a terrific job, the Daily Times had Matt Gunby there but WBOC didn't think it was worthy enough to cover.

Let us go back to the Christine Sheddy verdict. WBOC was there and Kayla Ayres did a great job talking to family and friends that were there for the outcome. Many of these friends were from out of State and were hoping to catch it on the WBOC video vault later when they got home. Well guess what if you missed the snippet at the beginning of the 6pm and 11pm news you were SOL, because they never uploaded the story to the vault.

WBOC needs to get it's act together. They are the biggest news agency around and they have been ignoring many local interest stories in their quest for a Delaware monopoly. They have a top notch news helicopter which nobody else around here has, but they think using it to fly over clandestine grave sites is the best use of fuel. Earth to John Dearing if you want to forget the Lower Shore Counties and honoring great people like Sam Vincent, that's on you but take the "MARVA" out of your slogan.

Man Found Dead In Burning Car In Berlin

Some creepy stuff in Berlin yesterday Police and Fire were called to a car fire only to discover a deceased man inside. They are unsure currently the cause of death but are asking anyone with information to contact the WCBI at 410-352-3476 ext124
