What are your thoughts on a smoking ban for the beaches in Ocean City?
Interesting Somerset County Court Case
This seems to be a very similar situation involving computer accessing and information removal that was rumored to have happened with Kristy Hickman. If this guy was charged with a crime and fined , if similar evidence was found shouldn't the County Commissioners push the investigators for an answer since it could possibly get some needed fine money for budget issues? They wouldn't let Dan Powell do it for political reasons but he got the job done on this guy.

7 year old child struck update
The 7 year old child that was struck by the vehicle last night on old ocean city road has been transported to Baltimore for further treatment.
Can We Please Move Past Linens Of The Week??
Ok the Council is redirecting the funds from demolishing Linens of The Week, can we now just move on. This property has been such a point of contention for so long it's ridiculous. The property needs to be torn down nobody denies that much, there is just differences on how to finance said operation and what should be done with the property. I think they should have a community center for the area youths to go and have positive activities after School.
I would however caution the members who voted to use the funds on other ventures to keep actively looking for funding to tear this eyesore down because the neighborhood deserves better. I'm not going down the we should have never accepted path, we own it now lets do something with it.
Beau Says Show Me The Money!!
I loved this article here which includes the fact that Beau wants more money and the quote "Commissioner Madison Bunting proposed several of the cuts and asserted that, whether or not Oglesby was new, his estimated costs in several categories were noticeably higher than costs in those same categories in previous years."
So let me get this straight Joel Todd who was a Democrat lost to the Conservative Republican candidate Beau only because it was the year not to be Democrat and yet Beau wants more money than Joel had asked for in the past few years.
People usually expect the Republican candidate to be about conserving money and doing more with less like our Wicomico County States Attorney Matt Maciarello. Matt doesn't use his County Vehicle and makes sure every cost saving measure is in place and yet Beau is asking for unprecedented funding. Show me the money right Beau?
