Terry Cohen And Tim Spies Distort Reality

This beautiful fish was put on almost all the college kids in Salisbury's door, but pay attention to the message Tim and Terry are sending out.

Read the language and tone of those words, are they claiming this has happened in the past? Where is the proof? Do they think college kids are being bought by SAPOA? Legal action is possible over such accusations.

This is the dirty campaign these two have been running. Listen up Terry and Tim do not like renters they want them gone from Camden and that includes you college students who are the bane of their existence. They want to use the Safe Streets program as a way to keep you out of their neighborhood so that every time an officer shows up at your door it will be one step closer to you being kicked to the curb.

College kids will be scared to even call the police for fear of being evicted for anything that will look bad on them. Imagine a college student goes to a party at one of these houses and unknown to the person throwing the party they bring crack into the house in their purse. They go upstairs start smoking the crack in the bathroom but start to get really sick and pass out, all the college kids living in that house would immediately be targeted for eviction is they called an ambulance or the police to help their friend.

Tim and Terry have been the ones running a dirty campaign this year from the handouts at the forums to these stunts trying to scare college kids into not voting. Case in point the college kids have started a website to encourage students to get involved in the process but because it has been unflattering to Tim and Terry they went to the University to have them find out who they are and shut it down, hows that for fairness?

College students please spread the word that Spies and Cohen are not on your side and don't fall for their sad little game at the last minute. You deserve a voice and the rest of the City deserves representation so please get out and vote tomorrow and just say no to Spies and Cohen

More Arrests Coming In Whitney Bennett Case

We learned yesterday that Steven Akers and Claude Hill had been arrested and charged with accessory after the fact and obstruction of justice. Claude Hill is the father of Whitney's boyfriend at the time of her disappearance William Hill.

There is a Hill family that owns property in the area her body was found. Let us hope everyone involved is brought to justice

Dear Anonymous,

Why do you exist?  Is it because you revel in your self importance?  Is it because you enjoy inflicting pain and anguish with no fear of consequence?   What drive's the anonymous?  You say, "freedom of speech".  I am all for freedom of speech.  My question is:  If you feel so strongly on a subject, why not put your real name to it?  Let your family, friends and neighbors know how you feel.  If you can take the time to compose a comment, then send it on for publication...why not sign your name?   In my opinion you don't sign your name because your family, friends and neighbors would be mortified that someone they thought was a good and caring person in their lives was actually a vile, disgusting, hate filled individual with no moral compass.  How would your children react to your comments about murder victims and their families?

How proud you must be.  It's not enough that these people are DEAD now you feel the need to attack the families of the victims.  Why do you feel the need to victimize anyone?   It is indeed a sick world we live in and to have the likes of the anonymous' point it out for us IT'S JUST a sad commentary.  If you believe in what you say, sign it, and own it.

Please Vote Muir Boda For Salisbury City Council

In December when I filed to run for Salisbury City Council, I began this campaign with the following message and I feel it is only appropriate to make this my last message before Election Day.

Our campaign has been about ideas, solutions and action.


For too long, our city has been embroiled in the politics of personal destruction and the clash of personalities. This has caused much embarrassment for the city of Salisbury and the wonderful people, who live, work and play here.
struggling, crime has steadily risen, property rights are under attack and in the end, our quality of life deteriorates. We must put aside our differences and come together to address the many issues we face.

I believe in having everyone at the table. All are stakeholders in this city — whether you are a homeowner or business owner, landlord or renter, employer or employee, you have a right to be heard. We all have a stake in this community. Passing it on to the next generation better than we received it is not just the right thing to do, it is our duty.

Join me as we bring forth a positive message of healing, reaching out to our neighborhoods that are disenfranchised and opening up our doors for business. We have so much work to do and it is going to take all of us putting aside our differences to do what is best for Salisbury.

A Letter To My Readers Regarding Mike Lewis

I want to first of all thank you all for the comments that you have sent in regarding your thoughts about Mike Lewis and the Foxwell case, and I want to explain why I rejected most of them.

I have been one of Mike Lewis' biggest critics in the past and felt for far too long he had allowed a relationship with a notorious local blogger to play out in the public arena with neither confirmations or denials of that relationship. Mike for whatever reason however took a stand against this individual back in January, and the events recently have shown he is now on the shit list as well.

Like all of us who have made mistakes with this person he deserves a chance at redemption, and how can we claim we are better than others if we can't give someone a chance when they have seen the light on this?. I know it isn't a popular decision based on the amount of comments I rejected regarding him, but I want so bad to try to give us all, Mike included a chance to move from under those dark clouds of the past.

I am not saying I won't be critical of him regarding a case, but this other issue needs to be purged from all things so we can go forward from here.

The Most Important Things

The beautiful lives shown and listed above are the things that should show us what should be the most important things in our lives, our family and loved ones. Think of the people that loved these beautiful people who are now without their smile, can't call them to say hey or celebrate the holidays with them.

Our differences in Politics or Beliefs are irrelevant compared to the loss and grief that these families have gone through. We must as a community try to work toward a better place to live and offer support to families and loved ones that need it. When you spend time with a wonderful family like Christine's or Whitney's and see the pain they go through because of these senseless tragedies it brings you back to what really matters and that is your loved ones.

Please pray for all the victims of these senseless crimes and think of their families when you go home to your happy life and just imagine what it would be like if it were your son or daughter, brother, sister and remember to hold your family close each day that you are lucky enough to tell them you love them.

Election Time Is Here

Tomorrow is Election Day In The City Of Salisbury, and a very important decision will be made on what direction we take.

We have a chance to put fresh people in office that can try something new with our City, or further the divide between different parties. Tim Spies and Terry Cohen represent the status quo, no vision or ideas for our future other than rid us of renters and college kids. They have support from their little area but they do not represent anyone but the Camden neighborhood and what is best for them.

This election again will turn into whether or not people will get out and vote and keep the Camden Association from running the City Council. The rest of the City deserves a say in what happens so I hope they will get out to vote. I am going to do this differently than the primary and tell you who you shouldn't vote for.

Do not vote for Tim Spies, Terry Cohen or Bruce Ford. Sadly the chances are good at least one of these will make it through but you can change all that if you get out and vote.  This City is a great place and I want the best for it, and having a City Council made up of Camden people is not my idea of diversity. Please Salisbury get out and vote, ask your neighbor if they voted, ask the people at work if they voted, it just takes a few minutes and it will have a big impact on us all.
