The Evil Within

If you are looking for the evil eating Salisbury from within it is the Camden Neighborhood Association. The Stepford wives with Debbie Campbell as their leader. They like to use SAPOA as the example of a special interest group, when they are by far the most evil special interest group around. They are a group dedicated to ridding itself of any and all renters in their neighborhoods(aka minorities) so they can go back to their wally and beaver days of the 1950's.

This group thinks they have the right to tell the rest of us that live outside of their tiny little Camden what is best for us. The platform is always the same, hate renters, hate the college. Well guess what Camden the rest of us hate you and will end your little gestapo tactics.

Scary Statistic Concerning Government Waste

This statistic should really make your pucker factor peak.

In a newly released report [pdf], the Government Accountability Office (GAO) estimates that, in fiscal year 2010, $48 billion in taxpayer money was squandered on fraudulent or improper Medicare claims. Meanwhile, the nation's ten largest health insurance companies made combined profits of $12.7 billion in 2010 (according to Fortune 500). In other words, for every $1 made by the nation's ten largest insurers, Medicare lost nearly $4...

Well ... if you have any rational thinking ability at all (which likely means that you were either home-schooled or went to a private school) this little factoid ought to be somewhat dismaying to you. Then again .. it isn't surprising. Tell me of just one government program that is run efficiently and that hasn't cost the taxpayers more than what was originally estimated. Just one program! The fact that these insurance companies are demonized for their "obscene" profits while our government wastes four times that amount is absurd. People should be outraged by government, when instead it is private industry and the evil rich that get the blame.

Hurlock OKs lower pay for incoming council By KELLEY L. ALLEN Staff Writer The Star Democrat



HURLOCK Incoming Hurlock council members will not get tax payer-funded health insurance, and will get a $10,000 yearly salary with expenses approved through the town treasurer.
Hurlock's current budget includes $72,000 for council salaries, which breaks down to $14,400 for each council member, along with $6,000 for mayor and council travel. The budget also includes $28,000 for Mayor Joyce Spratt's salary, and $5,000 for her expenses.
