Dipping into the Kool Aid.

I was going to answer a comment left on my last post by Bill Livingston. I figured that it would actually make a goodf post.

So yea, it may seem like I've been drinking the Kool Aid. Truth is, I haven't been drinking the front office Kool Aid, I've been drinking the orange Kool Aid. I love my Orioles. I was raised on them. The reason why I seem so optimistic about this season is because of what has been presented to us in the past few years. Over a decade actually. I will give some credit to Andy MacPhail because of what he has done with the mess that he inherited. He tore down what pieces that were there and shipped them away for some young studs that are starting to come into their own.

Salisbury Historic Landmarks

I am in the process of documenting the most historic locations around Salisbury and wanted to ask input on areas that I should cover.

Sbynews Continues To Deceive Repost

It seems our favorite con man Joe Albero refuses to pull ads off his site to continue the appearance that all his advertisers are so pleased with being attached to his failing site. When the Gary Comegys weekend at Bernies crap hit, I know for a fact that all of his advertisers were flooded with emails and calls about being associated with such filth. The advertisers then informed Joe when the current agreements ended at the end of last year and some up till Feb were done to take their ads down as they no longer wanted to associate with him.

This is but one of the replies I received from advertisers who informed people who contacted them they were ending their connection, but again notice Joe won't remove them to keep appearances up to con other companies. To the right is a screen clip from today showing that even though he has been asked to remove an ad he refuses..more to come

UPDATE: I have spoken with several others who informed me the same thing, but are scared of Joe letting comments in negative toward their business with the economy like it is, so won't go on the record or say anything about it even though he has been asked. He is deceiving everyone that is fact.

Pocomoke Now Is The Time For Change

Pocomoke now is the time for the needed change people have been crying out about. The deadline to file for Mayor is Friday and it is important that the community select someone that offers a new voice, and takes Pocomoke in a new direction. The City cannot take anymore of the politics of Russ Blake and Mike McDermott, it needs someone that actually understands the cities problems and wants to find ways to resolve them. Please Pocomoke take your City back now is the time

Really Mr. President?

Amidst anarchy in Egypt and rumors that Hosni Mubarak plans to step down so that Mohamed ElBaradei, supposed "point man" for the "outlawed" Muslim Brotherhood, can seize control of the reformed Egyptian government, in an effort to reassure a tense world President Barack Obama finally took to the stage with an update on the crisis in Egypt.

Somber and in control, Barack assured the people that in between basketball games and cocktail parties for political advisors, his "administration has been in close contact with our Egyptian counterparts and a broad range of the Egyptian people, as well as others across the region and across the globe." Then Obama, a man who seems to lack core values, gave his word that when it comes to Egypt, "a set of core principles" leads the way.

The President espoused opposition to violence, commended the Egyptian military for "professionalism and patriotism," and thanked them for "allowing peaceful protests while protecting the Egyptian people." Ever the promoter of "change," Barack Obama urged "the military to continue its efforts to help ensure that this time of change is peaceful."

Maintaining a serious tone, Obama never mentioned the Tea Party, Fairness Doctrine or Internet "kill switch," but claimed to "stand for universal values," such as "freedom of assembly...speech and...access to information."
