Rand Paul gets serious about the deficit

The President pretends to cut spending and the Republicans offer serious proposals, but Rand Paul has raised the bar on reducing the size of government.

Politico reports that Senator Paul (R-Kent.) has introduced a bill that would cut spending by $500 billion in one year:

...he clearly goes much further, folding the Energy Department into the Department of Defense and wiping out most of the Education Department but for Pell Grants to low income college students.

The Department of Housing and Urban Development is a third casualty, together with seven independent agencies including the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and national endowments for the humanities and arts.

Senator Paul's legislation would reduce spending across a wide range of federal departments, as detailed in an overview of the bill.

Safe Streets Work Session Today

If you want to see how Jim Ireton, Debbie Campbell and Terry Cohen spent countless hours and money getting the safe streets plan together so they could use it as a platform to throw renters (aka people they think less of)out then be at the GOB around 1:30 on the third floor room 306

Is Terry Cohen Hiding Something?

Terry Cohen seems very reluctant to answer any questions regarding her actual work history and job experience, and this has me confused. I think the voters deserve to know the straight up facts about all these jobs she has claimed to have done.

It is simple give specifics on the jobs and prove to everyone you have done the things you claim, if you have nothing to hide and have all that experience I would think one would want everyone to see how knowledgeable they are if it is true. The voters deserve these answers Terry once and for all, I am more than willing to admit you have all the skills if you provide the proof.
