Wicomico County Executive Rick Pollitt urged all motorists to exercise extreme caution while driving today and tomorrow. “The National Weather Service’s latest prediction for our area calls for a ‘wintry’ mix of sleet, snow and freezing rain starting Tuesday afternoon changing back to all snow at about 7:00 P.M. and continuing until about sunrise on Wednesday,” said Pollitt. “Because the Weather Service has stressed that, ‘due to sleet/freezing conditions, untreated/unused roadways will ice over very quickly causing hazardous driving conditions,’ I strongly urge all motorists to take their time and be extremely careful when driving.”

This Is Why The City Needs Diversity In It's Representation

This map above shows the locations of where Debbie Campbell, Terry Cohen and Candidate Tim Spies live. This is a tiny little area in Salisbury where they want you to let them make all the decisions for Salisbury. 1 Representative from Camden is enough and the City deserves to be represented in all the quadrants of the City.

Camden Avenue wants to be Lord and Master over all of the Salisbury Residents and we must in this election make sure we elect people from different neighborhoods so they do not get a stranglehold on our City

Debbie Campbell and Terry Cohen Show Selfishness At Last Night's Meeting

They will be on WICO tomorrow singing "I wanna worry about me, wanna worry bout I , need my insurance o me o my, screw the people on furlough my my my"

In a very selfish display last night Debbie Campbell and Terry Cohen moaned and complained at the prospect of losing their ability to have the taxpayers pay for their health insurance. Louise Smith gave numerous examples of Councils around the State that do not get insurance. The many City employees that are on furloughs I am sure were so pleased with this display.

It was also quite the display to watch GA Harrison with his Harry Potter glasses that are too small get up and defend Debbie Campbell getting health insurance. He actually had the nerve to compare Louise and Gary getting Health Insurance from their retirement plans. GA are you that stupid to compare insurance from working full time for extended years to a part time job that at most Debbie has held 5 years? good grief. I know you think Debbie craps golden turds but when you lower yourself to that level of dumbness it makes people think you are a moron, remember you couldn't even win a seat with 13 running and 9 elected that should tell you how much people think of you.

This City is under extreme financial hardships right now and since these two are supposed to be stewards of taxpayers money it really shows they only care to the point where it would hit their purse strings.

We Need To Help Earl Wallace

This was sent into the Daily Times Letter To The Editor but it is worth posting here to see if any of the readers of my site can help this gentleman. I know what it's like to be limited in mobility and think we as a community could band together and help this man.

My prayer when you read this letter is that it will touch your heart and you will pass the news, so the right person will hear of this plight and help a gentlemen who so greatly needs help.

I know that somewhere in America, a land that gives so generously to everyone, and not just this country but in other countries, we will find the direction we need to achieve what needs to be done.

Earl Wallace is our neighbor, an American who has been unable to find help to getting 100-pound tumor removed. It runs from his hip to his foot. Because of this tumor, he sits in a large armchair, unable to barely move about.
His limitations are unbearable. Although his neighbors help him with daily needs, what he needs to regain his life is medical attention. We are happy to report that Peninsula Imaging was able to give him a MRI, which indicates the tumor can be removed.

Here, though, we have hit a wall and have not found a hospital or doctor willing to continue his treatment. Wallace has worked all his life, until three years ago. Now he has no insurance.

We ask that you go to YouTube and search for "Earl Wallace Giant Tumor." You will be able to see for yourself his need

We thank retired Sen. Lowell Stoltzfus for his continuous help in trying to find medical help. Should you be able to help this gentlemen, call Doreen Tull at 410-430-8706.

Pray with us for help for Earl Wallace.
