Tow Trucks On The Agenda Tonight
I hope that the City Council comes to some agreement at a work session tonight at 4:30 regarding this entire Tow Truck fiasco as many peoples livelihoods are being threatened to be taken away by the rule changes proposed. I am sure it will be a full house for the work session as there are many tow companies that own multiple businesses that would be affected by the change to rules.
I just hate to see a change be made because Jim had a friend complain about a tow ticket and this be the reason people could be out of a job.
Jim Ireton Needs to Remember He Serves The Citizens
I have had it with Jim Ireton and his stupid daily press releases about how many days since he expected Louise Smith to jump through hoops for him and need to remind him he serves the Citizens of Salisbury not the voices in his head.
Jim needs to stop being so childish and meet with Louise and the group that she put together to come up with ideas to fight the crime problems we are having that do not involve money like Jim loves to spend. This is immaturity at it's best, instead of a my way or the highway act, why not sit down with everyone and come up with a workable plan.
Jim continues to act like Kris Adams is the antichrist every chance he gets and this is keeping our City from dealing with the crime and blight. Jim as an adult sometimes we have to swallow our pride and work with others who we not necessarily like, but when you are an elected official that's part of life.
Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
Much like this John Phoebus sign that lays hidden in a ditch on the side of the road, many political campaigns will end up on the avenue of broken dreams. Some will dust themselves off and look forward to the next time they can run, while others will enjoy the peace and quiet of not having to deal with the drama.
I have to say I don't think anyone really knows where they will be in 4 years when this whole thing plays over again, but I am glad this one is over for sure.
Delivery Driver Robberies Continue
We had yet another delivery driver robbed at gunpoint over the weekend, and evidently still no suspects. This is really way out of hand, and these delivery drivers now have to take their lives into their hands to deliver a 10 dollar pizza for goodness sake. It sounds to me like its the same group over and over and I know that someone out there has to know something about this group. If you know anything Please call Crimesolvers and share any info you can and remember you don't have to leave your name.
These delivery drivers do not need to be living in fear every time they make a delivery and it is up to us the public to help the police get this crew off the streets before someone gets hurt.

Nothing Else Negative Coming From Me
I said all I had to last week about the people that I support and others who I honestly can't stand, so I will launch no more negative posts about anyone. I am pleased to see a decent turnout for the early voting which above everything the fact that people participate in the voting process is the most important.
I am sure there will be some results I won't be pleased about, and others that I will be ecstatic about, but above it all I will be glad it is over. The end game comes at a perfect time so we can all enjoy these wonderful holidays headed our way in the next couple of months. I can say that this entire political season since July has been a crazy time as I have covered Wicomico, Somerset and Worcester County Politics.
I have become better educated as well on many State level issues we are having, and for that I am the better. I will be out and about all day Tuesday as well and will have people at the polling places and board of elections getting me accurate stats from all Lower Counties. We are almost at the finish line everyone so thank you each and every one of you for making my site your place to go for election news.

The Spirit Of Community Looking Out For Each Other
If you want to find the true spirit of Community it was found at Ashlynn Bruce's Fundraiser held last night. It is the spirit that was in the room last night that gives me hope for a better tomorrow. I cannot thank the people that showed up enough for the time and donations to help Patricia and Ashlynn out.
I am not going to name specific people that were there because it is not about that, but I want to thank Rob Mulford personally for showing up and for our great conversation. Rob you are a first class guy and I have huge respect for you. I don't need a paid advertisement to tell people to support this guy by eating at Market Street if your out for food, as he really symbolizes what is good about our City. Thank you again everyone so much for coming out to help this precious little girl
