Slow News Day Which Is Good

It has been a very quiet news day today with nothing earth shattering happening around the area. It is nice to have it be quiet because it means nothing bad has happened which we have had alot of lately. I want to say a big thank you for all the emails and phone calls of support I have received and also the great response to my interview with Patricia and Ashlynn Bruce.

I am myself just getting over the "bug" thats been going around so have been thankful for the little reprieve today. I have several more interviews scheduled for my TV show and some other exciting guests. Thanks everyone ..

District 38B Vote Pusey and Williams

I hope that the information I have provided on Mike McDermott and his incompetent leadership has opened your eyes here in Wicomico County, which for some reason he got the most votes, and convinced you to vote for Marty Pusey and Gee Williams. I can only assume the voters here in Wicomico were unaware of all the things that Mike McDermott had in his closet, because the voters in Worcester overwhelmingly voted for Marty Pusey.

I encourage you to click the links to the right and visit each of their websites and read on these two very fine representatives who would do a great job in Annapolis. I am asking you to please not vote for Mike McDermott a man who called a deceased love one a sponge on society. Gee Williams brings such a talent from Berlin they probably will not want to lose him, but their loss would be our gain. Marty Pusey can fill in with the Conservative voice that is needed in Annapolis and I can guarantee we would be proud of these two representing us in Annapolis.

Pocomoke Murder

James Ballard pictured above is the suspect in the stabbing death of 18 year old Russell Bailey that occurred yesterday afternoon around 2:30 in front of the middle School in Pocomoke. I just think about those kids in School and what they must have felt like to have this occur across the street, I can only hope they didn't see it.

This is an example of what happens when the Mayor Mike McDermott, can't be bothered to attend 4 different crime meetings set up by citizens in the most troubled neighborhoods. Mike also is the only Mayor to reject the well recognized and successful drug and crime plan created by Joel Todd that almost every other small municipality has joined in on. How can Mike McDermott think he is ready for bigger and better things like Annapolis when his own house is in total disarray?

Mike has also been stripped of his police powers and is now riding around writing citations from being investigated for the handgun incident from a couple of months back. It is time that people see the real Mike McDermott and sadly it is taking people being murdered in Pocomoke to bring light to his complete incompetent leadership. Please look at this yourself and see Mike doesn't deserve any job serving the public and certainly not representing us in Annapolis

Living In The City 2010

As a lifelong resident of Salisbury I can speak of my own experience with the rising crime problems. The changes that have been made are many that we all have had to do sadly and that included almost completely stopping any after dark activities. This has to be crushing business around Salisbury with people afraid to go out after dark.

It just isn't safe anymore inside the City to take the risk of going out after nightfall because you honestly are scared to death someone is about ready to rob you or shoot you. If I go to an ATM it is during the daytime it is drive up and I park as humanly possible to the building so no one could come up beside me.

The scary part is the holiday shopping season hasn't even started yet, and traditionally crime spikes during this period with more people out shopping. If the first 9 months have been any example God Help us all the next three.

Jim Ireton Needs To Resign

Calls are being made by Jim's own people for him to immediately resign to allow the City a chance to find a real leader who can work with others for the better of the entire community.  Jim is sending out a press release everyday counting the days since he asked Louise to put his Legislative Package to a vote.

Louise has asked Jim for the 14 months information on his pre-legislation package from his private meetings with Debbie and Terry and he refused to respond and considered it executive privilege.  During that entire time, there was never a press release from Louise saying 13 days now 14 days now 15 days since the meetings began.

Jim has no plan for Salisbury's out of control crime.  This latest meltdown is his latest out of control behavior.  Jim Ireton is the perfect example of someone with no leadership and who is in well over his head. Jim just resign you can't handle the job.

Just Say No To Beau

There are Four pending murder cases in Worcester County and Beau who wants the job of state's attorney has never tried a murder in his entire career although he has defended them. Joel Todd is the strong voice Worcester County Residents deserve to get the punishment for the families of this senseless violence. Just say no To Beau

AFP Leadership Asleep At The Wheel?

With all the recent political unrest between the Tea Party, AFP and the Republican Party, one has to begin to wonder if our local AFP is asleep at the wheel. The recent meeting was another example of a lack of seperation from the GOP and a sign that the local AFP has become just another branch of the Republican headquarters. Why couldn't the local chapter come out and say hey we think Murphy is the best candidate and he is who we are encouraging people to vote for? instead they "educate" and at the same time ask people to phone bank for Harris and Ehrlich.

Word is another group is forming soon and will be a true leader for local conservative politics so stay tuned.

Formal Complaint Filed Against Mike McDermott

Lynn Dodenhoff the mother or Murder Victim Christine Sheddy has filed an official complaint against Mike McDermott for the handling of her daughters case. Mike came to the conclusion in his mind that Christine had simply taken off because she didn't want to care for her kids, and even went so far as to file charges against her for child abandonment. The most disgusting thing was his she was a "sponge on society" comment that he made to Lynn.

Mike McDermott will be a very discussed topic today as he has many issues going on at one time that should show people he doesn't deserve any job.
