Matt Maciarello Is The Correct Choice

The only choice for Wicomico County State's Attorney is Matt Maciarello. I am disappointed to see some people who want to use Matt's experience as an excuse not to support him, and I am also saddened to see some people slinging mud for Seth Mitchell. Seth Mitchell needs to show he can control his followers by sticking to who is better for the job instead of getting into a mud slinging contest.

 Matt Maciarello will not be involved in any of these games as he is dedicated to showing you why he is the right man for the job. Matt is his own man and will not be controlled by anyone regardless of what some people want to spread rumors regarding. Matt will be the strong leader and voice that we need in this time to show criminals we are not playing around. I don't want to get into a war with the Mitchell camp because while Matt may not be involved with any of this I can be.  Let us stick to getting our candidate of choice the most votes and stop with all the rumors and innuendo.

Matt Maciarello will lead this County with honor and dignity and I urge anyone that thinks otherwise to consider where this info  is coming from and decide yourself. I am personally vouching for Matt and know he will do the right thing when in office. If I do wrong I expect him to lock me up just like anyone else on the street. 10 Million Dollar Lawsuit Filed against Bobby Jones and Somerset County Sheriff's Department

This is some serious stuff that will be played out in Federal Court. A 10 million dollar lawsuit against Bobby Jones and the Somerset County Sheriff's Office is no laughing matter. This could seriously hurt Somerset County and this is why Bobby Jones needs to go. Bobby has brought shame upon that office for too long and this is just another example of the problems in that office with Bobby Jones in charge. Somerset County please cut your loses with this man and vote Allan Webster.

Comment Worthy A Post

Can law enforcement reduce crime? HELL YES! We need to get back to policing our streets. That means police need to get out of the car AND CHECK ON BUSINESSES. Police need to ride bikes and walk the street. We absolutely need to get back to a neighborhood and more business approach to policing.


Why do we stop cars driving on our BYPASS and arrest drug traffickers going from VA to New York? So we can fill our local jails and courts with these idiots? Get back to local enforcement.

The problem we have now is simple. We keep trying some fancy new programs to stop crime. And the allocation of Police in Wicomico County is insane. Last week we had state police and Deputies at every intersection around BIKE WEEK! We saw a cop fast asleep.(Before you fault the Deputy- It was a boring useless assignment - I would have fallen asleep too!) Then you pull into Winterplace park and Two Deputies are Guarding the GATE???? WHY!?!

How about putting those cops on the street patrolling. And I don't mean sitting at the Holiday INN(RAMADA) looking for seat belt violators. [City Police] Then at night we have the MD State Police hiding in Perdue parking lot across from Brew River waiting to pull over DRUNKS? How about having the Trooper sit in the lot and discourage by giving out some Breathalyzers. And shaking some hands and telling people please don't drive drunk.

We need COPS to start introducing themselves to business owners and managers in the sectors they work. Introducing themselves to the Neighborhoods and people on the streets.

Burglaries are way up and the police are more concerned with where these idiot sell the stolen goods then catching the idiots stealing it. Wouldn't it be nice if when a bank robbery occurs 1000 feet from your store if the police would stop by and tell you? This has happened 5 times in around my business in the last 14 months!

What is the solution to reducing crime and problems in our area? It is simple. COMMUNITY POLICING! And I do not mean substations where cops can go play PS3. Real old fashion community policing where the Sergeants, Lieutenants, Captains, got out and policed the streets with all the rank and file officers. THE ANSWERS IS SIMPLE - Police need to do more policing.

Great Article Sent In By A Reader

Salisbury Politics - Inuendos and Suggestions - Are often misleading


In his recent post on Delmarva Dealings G.A. Harrison writes a suggestive article that all but accuses several of the Salisbury City Council Members of being corrupt and accepting bribes. It is not the first time G.A. has done this, as this article is just a rehash from the 2009 election.

However, he does go on and refer to letters from landlords to their tenants and claims of large amounts of money under the table, fictitious committees, etc. Where is his evidence of such committees and money? Of all people making a claim about large campaign contributions, back room deals, and corruption, we have the poster boy of the Republican Establishment tossing this out.

Like all the conservative and liberal PACs that throw money around, local business owners are going to support those candidates that best represent their interests. Ironically I cannot fathom why G.A. Harrison would support legislation that would encroach severely on property rights and force property owners to spend thousands of dollars on reconstruction of their houses. Or why he would support a situation that will cause a housing crisis in this city.

Apparently he has not read the legislation that has little to do with crime and more to do with housing. G.A. or Gollum as he is affectionately called, is only doing what he has been told by Debbie Campbell and Terry Cohen. If G.A. was true to his principles he would oppose this legislation and stand up for what is right, however he is just a third rate hack with no stones to do what is right.

Davis Ruark To Prosecute Foxwell Case?

I was most pleased to see in the Daily Times that if elected Matt Maciarello will ask Davis Ruark to lead the prosecution team againt Thomas Leggs. This is another example of Matt's leadership and why he is the right person for the job. There is nobody that can tackle that case like Davis Ruark, who regardless of his faults is known to be one of the best trial laywers around.
Davis Ruark has been on this case from the beginning and if he accepts Matt's offer it will give Davis the correct ending to his dedicated years of service, as he would be going out a true hero and showing he was never in it for politics alone .Matt Maciarello has character and his actions continue to show he is the correct choice to be our next Wicomico County State's Attorney. Davis I believe you will do the right thing if asked by Matt so we as a community thank you.

O'Malley and Ehrlich? Is that the best we can do?

It still is disappointing that the best that Maryland has to offer for Governor is the same 2 guys that have battled back and forth since 2006. Ehrlich and O'Malley are so much alike either one of them are going to be just like the other in the end of the day. I will give O'Malley the edge in personality however.

How can Maryland ever move forward with new ideas when we keep offering up the same things. I urge anyone that is reading this to vote for Susan Gaztanaga and help the Libertarian party get their 1% to stay on the ballot. She has zero chance to win but I think I am not alone not wanting to vote for either one of the alternatives. With your vote for Susan you will be letting both the Republicans and Democrats that you aren't interested in supporting the same crap they send out year after year and are asking them to be more creative.

Otto and McCready Ready For Final Push

I have received some passionate comments in support of both of these gentlemen so I can only guess that this will be a close race. They both represent the lower shore way of life and I believe would represent District 38A well. I will not post any comments attacking either but if you want to post a comment supporting them and why you are voting this is the place.
