The 80+ signatures supporting Ivan Barkley Revisited

In my video coming up soon I discuss this topic and if Jim Ireton dismisses this I can tell you the rank and file will be ticked. Ernie Leatherbury has a great personality and is fun and easy to talk to and I get along great with him and have him laughing quite often, but I don't think Jim should ignore this letter from these 80+ SPD employees. Local Law Enforcement has enough problems without affecting the morale within the department so I think Ivan should stay.

Wicomico County Executive

Rick Pollitt made it to the General election over my friends Tom Taylor and John Baker. Rick Pollitt is getting my support because quite honestly Joe Ollinger has no clue what he is doing or talking about. The last thing this County needs at this very precarious time is someone to come in and try to reinvent the wheel and to have to learn on the job. I have not agreed with every decision Rick Pollitt has made but I have more faith in him for another 4 years trying to dig us out of the mess we are in than Ollinger. I don't want to see people so desperate for change they start voting for the wrong people just for that sake alone, Joe Ollinger is not County Executive material.

Wicomico County At Large Race

Well it now boils down to Ed Taylor, Dave Cowall, Matt Holloway and Bob Culver. The only one I support is Dave Cowall. I cannot fathom the votes for Ed Taylor as that makes no sense. Bob Culver and Matt Holloway are in the Stevie Prettyman yes group and we don't need a voting bloc already as stated. I was saddened that my friends Mike Brewington and Chris Lewis didn't make it as both would have represented the people's interests. I am proud of both of them for putting their names out to try to change the system and represent the people and am most honored to call them my friends above all else.

Governor Of Maryland

Well we have a rematch from 2006 O'Malley vs Ehrlich woopity. I don't want to go back to The Ehrlich days and can't support O'Malley because of some of the moves he has made so I guess I will vote Libertarian and help Susan Gaztanaga which will also help them get the votes to stay on the ballot.

Congress District 1

I was disappointed that people didn't give Rob Fisher the support and instead voted for Andy Harris (yawn). Andy Harris has nothing new to offer from 2 years ago and won't have my support. I will be crossing party lines and supporting Frank Kratovil.

State's Attorney Race

I know the Davis followers are hopeful but the stats show it is over. Davis is 243 behind at this point. There are 507 absentees. 507 minus 243 = 264. For Davis to win, he needs to get 133 of the 264 (half plus 2) That means Davis has to win a total of 375 out of the 507 to beat Mitchell. That is 74% of the 507. Not likely.

This mean it will be Mitchell against Maciarello and I have already spoken and said it's Matt all the way for me. I will have much more on this later today.

Election Recap Delegate 38A

Well this was the race that everyone was keeping their eyes on and it didn't disappoint. My friend Julie Brewington ran a great race and I am so proud of her. Julie faced an uphill battle and the thing I am most proud of her for was putting up with the abuse she took at the hands of Joe Albero. I was going to support Julie because she honestly symbolizes what is right with America, someone that gets involved with the American Political System to make a change.

The voters have chosen a great Candidate and man in Charles Otto and if I could have voted for both I would have. I support Charles 100% and he is the right man for the job. I have to take a moment however to talk about Cannon and Phoebus. John Cannon had no chance and I was still shocked he wanted to run for Delegate and this had to be a last minute decision. I like John as a person but this run of his made me lose some respect by his Vineyard fundraisers and lack of active campaigning to the regular people.

Now let me touch on the one that I took the greatest delight in and that was John Phoebus losing. John Phoebus spent more money than anyone on his campaign and went so far as to get children's clothes which I hope he donates to a homeless shelter. The man also admitted to me that he called Joe Albero and shared a private conversation he had with my wife which showed he had no character or class. I find it most amusing that John I am sure thought he had this in the bag because Bob Ehrlich was behind him and guess what zonk didn't help at all.

Election Recap State Delegate 38B

I was so pleased that Marty Pusey and Gee Williams made it to the General Election as they were who I was going to vote for and now I can. If you are looking for change these 2 are who you need to be supporting on November 2nd. A Kaye Kenney's refusal to sign the tax payer protection pledge was her downfall and I am glad that she is out.

Vote Matt Maciarello For State's Attorney

I want to be the first to come out and announce my support of Matt Maciarello for State's Attorney. I have gotten to know Matt and his family and consider them friends and they are exactly what we need in the State's Attorneys Office since it's obvious people want a fresh start. I will be openly supporting Matt from this point out. I was going to vote for Matt over Davis in the General election anyway but with Seth Mitchell being his opponent I want to be very vocal in my support for Matt
