Comment Worthy A Post

"I am new at this post, but one of the issues that concerns me is, even though we have an opportunity for a positive change in Somerser, Wicomico and Worcester, what about the state as a whole. If we leave O'Malley in, or put Erlich in, where does that put us? Last presidential election, I voted for McCain while holding my nose. The media blasted his running mate as a no nothing governor from a remote statec and we wound up with O"Barry. It seems to me that real change, from top to bottom, is what will make the day. I am not trying to take anything away from these all-important "local" elections, but Maryland first, then the country needs a reversal back to what make this state and country great. Let'sw just stop putting people in a position where their ignoring or ignorance of state and federal constitutions is the norm. Is it just me, but it is clear when America was great, government was considered a "necessary evil" that, when it kept to it's prescribed duties, the country flourished. It was only when the documents become "living", and therefore subject to interpretation that we started our downhill slide. Please excuse this rant, but let's remember to put the Consitiution first, then see what candidate, be he/she local or statewide, or national endeavors to to that. "
