A New Week Of Attacks On Julie Brewington Begin

GA Harrison has gone on the attack yet again for his master Joe Albero with his latest article criticising Julie for just about anything and everything she has said or done as of late. The more this behavior continues from this group it becomes very apparent that they are scared to death of this lady. It only shows that they represent the establishment and will use anything they can to discredit and make fun of their opponents. You really must question their hatred of women at this point since they have saved the most disgusting attacks toward her.

Let us remember GA Harrison had pornographic material filling his forums on his website and recently sent out spam emails for a Canadian pharmacy website (since closed down for illegal activities) selling sex aides to several people including yours truly (evidence below). Make sure you remember these things before listening to a word from this pair.

Joel Todd Leadership That Has Dropped Violent Crime 40% In Worcester County

Joel Todd With Former Wicomico County Sheriff Hunter Nelms and  David Massey, current Chief of  the Ocean Pines Police Department and retired Chief of the Ocean City Police Department.

Retired Wicomico County Sheriff Hunter Nelms, left, and David Massey, current Chief of theOcean Pines Police Department and retired Chief of the Ocean City Police Department.

As your State’s Attorney, Joel is committed to building partnerships with citizens and law enforcement in finding ways to detect, arrest, and prosecute criminals, recognizing that we also need to find new and better ways to prevent crime.

Due in part to Joel's proactive programs to combat crime, the violent crime rate in Worcester County declined each of the last 3 years. In 2006 it declined 17.7 percent; 2007 it went down 16.7 percent, and 2008 it fell 19.3 percent. Compare that with the statewide average for the same 3 years: up 0.9-percent, declined 13 percent and up 24.7-percent. From 2004 through 2008 (the last years for which official statistics are available), the violent crime rate in Worcester County is down an impressive 40.7-percent. This drop in crime in this economy is evidence of the strong partnership between police and prosecutors in Worcester County.

For the detailed report, go to the Maryland Crime Statistics.

Joel is a lifelong resident of Worcester County. In 1982, he earned his law degree from Nova Southeast University Law Center in Florida.

He returned to Worcester County and served nine years as Deputy State’s Attorney. Todd served as the child abuse prosecutor, and was called as an expert witness in the area of Child Abuse prosecutions. Joel also became Worcester County’s first full-time drug prosecutor and has worked with the Worcester County Narcotics Task Force since its inception in 1987.

Joel was elected State’s Attorney in 1994. As State’s Attorney, he works closely with local police and the community, providing training in a variety of areas.

Joel has twice served as Chairman of the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation, the only non-police person to serve in that capacity.

He has prosecuted hundreds of felony cases and continues battling to protect the people in this county.

Would The City Council Accept Ernie Leatherbury As Chief?

The other side of the story with the news of Ernie Leatherbury being the person that Jim has picked as the next Chief of Police is, will the City Council vote to approve him?. It must be remembered that the power is not with Jim to hire, but with the Council to approve his choice. I have heard that he may not get the required votes as some of the Council are happy with Ivan Barkley. The question should also be how will Ivan react to all of this? will he just retire or will he accept working under Ernie?

Reader Sent In Article : Will Sarah Palin run in 2012 ?

Will Sarah Palin run in 2012 ? With the media coverage she has had since the 2008 elections she has a good head start on any other candidate that steps up to the plate, at least you would think so. Sure the media does put her as a front runner at this point but, with the lack of any other candidates this could all be for nothing.

Palin has stated she doesn't have 2012 on her mind "yet". She is keeping her concentration on the 2010 elections with speeches and endorsements of others.

Sarah Palin is pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-gun and supports oil drilling both offshore and in ANWR. She has publicly questioned whether global warming is man-made.

With all that being said i would like to pose a few questions to the readers of the Salisbury Grinch.

1. Would you vote for Sarah Palin as president ?

2. Do you think all the Media coverage she so craves could come back to haunt her in the end ?

3. Do you think her publicly questioning weather global warming is man-made shows her to be a little out of touch with 90% of the scientific world ?

4. Would you consider her to be a viable candidate for vice president ?

5. Should she just go back to Alaska and work for the state she so loves ?

10 Thousand Dollars In Legal Fees!!

I cannot believe that Jim Ireton spent 10 thousand dollars on legal fees to do nothing more than what SAPOA already put in motion. This is a complete waste of taxpayers dollars, and that money should have been spent somewhere else that was having a financial burden right now.

This feud with SAPOA is now costing the taxpayers money that we do not have, and targeting people that had nothing to do with 1936 housing laws. I clearly showed a home that belongs to a friend of Jim Ireton that was as bad if not worse than the slum property of the week, but Jim doesn't mind that because they are pals.

Jim you seriously need to take a step back and look at what you are doing, you are targeting 75% of the population of Salisbury to satisfy the minority of people that are your friends who want all homes owner occupied. This is never going to happen, people cannot afford to be double taxed within the City limits and this is not SAPOA's fault.
