Do Not Forget 6PM Tonight Truth Serum Time
Clarence Bell??
I hadn't really talked about Clarence Bell who is running for Sheriff, but seriously? he was fired from his last job as Chief of Crisfield Police and has had issues keeping a job. I'm not even sure why this guy wasted the money to file since nobody takes him serious.
Why Didn't The Maryland Attorney General Investigate Troy Durham's Claims of Corruption within the Somerset County Sheriff's Department?.

The recent news regarding the Troy Durham case in Somerset County which involved allegations of corruption within the Somerset County Sheriff's Office brought up an interesting little tidbit.
The Maryland Attorney General's Office declined to investigate the allegations against Sheriff Bobby Jones, however in the Donna Pusey case according to Bobby Jones they investigated and said he had been found innocent.
I cannot understand why they would not at least take a glance at the situation since alot more damning information was available from Troy Durham's case. I think with the recent Donna Pusey incident they should at least consider going back and looking at what he was claiming and put it to rest one way or the other
Cracker Barrel Likely No Longer interested In Salisbury
As much as many of us hoped Cracker Barrel was going to finally come to Salisbury out by the stadium, the deal seems all but dead and they have shown no interest lately. The economy and other issues made it just not feasible at this time to grace our City with a store...maybe someday
SAPOA Steps Up For The City
Laura D'Alessandro has a great article in the Times today which can be read here, about the initiatives SAPOA are already putting in place to help weed out bad tenants in their rental properties. I think it is great news that they are going to even tighten the belt more and help the City.
I wish that Jim would at least try to work with them, because whether he likes it or not they represent 75% of the renters in Salisbury. I know the longstanding feud between the Ireton, Campbell, Cohen group who dislike landlords buying up owner occupied homes, but I hate to break it to them there is no incentive for anyone to own property in the City limits as long as people are getting double taxed by both the City and County.
SAPOA is actually doing the City a service by keeping these homes used and in the tax books, because otherwise we would have 60-70 percent of the homes within the city limits be vacant and boarded up.Like it or not SAPOA is a major reason Salisbury can do 1/2 of what it does because they keep people within the City limits. Are there property issues? yes but if you check into the specific properties you will see they are not part of SAPOA, which Kris Adams says in the article is the next step. Getting these problem property owners to join SAPOA and follow a strict guideline of tenants and property care will make out City even better for everyone.

Another Wicomico County Sex Offender
This sick puppy above was allegedly molesting young boys and there may be more victims, isn't this like the third one in the past 2 months? I'm beginning to think Wicomico County is a haven for them
