The Investigation Continues

Salisbury has gone downhill so quickly since Chief Webster departed that it is beyond scary. I am not saying we didn't have problems with crime before (and who doesn't) but the escalation since he has been gone is beyond disturbing. Where are the cries for change or downtown rallies now? notice they are non existent because it was never about crime with the group that wanted him gone as it was about disliking him personally. It is obvious a major shakeup is needed. Mike Lewis needs to have the person who gets him ready for his face time, carry duct tape for his mouth when he feels the urge to make stupid "we are going to rock the criminals worlds" bs statements.
Something must be done as our City is spiraling into chaos and people are scared. Ivan Barkley is a very nice guy but is not a leader and we need someone to come in and get things under control quickly. Next up will be tshirts that will say I live in Salisbury please pray for me. WE NEED ACTION NOW!

I have been around the political scene in Salisbury for quite a while and see history repeating itself again with politicians becoming part of the game of personal destruction. Until we as a community let the political players know we will not even give them the time of day when they become involved with legitimizing and encouraging personal destruction of political opponents the game will never change.
Joe Albero and sbynews are the worst offenders of this game of personal destruction of candidates who he happens to not like, and every candidate that sits down with him for an interview is letting him know he can do whatever he wants because either A. They don't want to piss him off to which I laugh and say who cares or B. They want to utilize his sevices by pretending to be friendly so he will pimp them out at the cost of someone he has attacked. I lost alot of respect for John Cannon sitting down and talking to Joe considering what Albero has done to a political opponent of his Julie Brewington. It was in bad taste and if anything will cost him votes for this severe lack of judgement.
Joe Albero will not help you get 1 vote that is a fact, neither will I for that matter because people already know ahead of time what they are looking for in a representative. I am trying to change the game to a respectable policy based discussion. I have never hid the fact of the people I dislike but I just am not going to talk about them. If candidates don't want to be interviewed no biggie, they don't have to be scared of me attacking personally for it unlike Albero.
To the candidates that have been and are scheduled to be on Albero's show, I appreciate the fact that you are putting yourself out to try to serve your community better, but by sitting down with a monster you are only giving him fuel to continue his game. It may not be your wife and family he is attacking right now, but it soon could be and then you will be the one like so many others who have seen the light as to what Albero is about.

I took the time and rode Downtown Friday evening and I have to say I was very impressed with the turnout and participation for this event. I don't care whose idea it was the Chamber, Urban Salisbury or Jim Ireton it really is a positive thing that is happening. People really seemed to be enjoying Downtown for the first time in a long time. I don't know that this will help bring Downtown back, but I want to acknowledge it's success.

"Grinch, I sent this same comment to the ass Joe Albero. Since it won't be posted I've sent it to you too. Isn't it funny that no mention of the chief of police has been uttered with 2 deaths and another shooting this morning. If Webster was still in office the cries would be, "how long is Salisbury and Jim Ireton going to put up with the chief and the crime under his watch". Seems to me Salisbury is as big a crime ridden crap hole under this chief as it was the last. What's this one done to decrease the crime rate? Oh, but he looks good in his uniform. Its a joke. "
