Local Media taking off to greener pastures
There has been a trend lately of local media members taking off to better jobs and I am sure more money. We lost Katherine Amenta and most recently Elizabeth Harrington. We are very fortunate to have the 2 best anchors around in Alice Bavis and Don Elkins. WMDT lacks a good Anchor now that Katherine is gone and I wonder how much success they will have getting one with the little pay they get around here.
Sbynews Lies Again Today
Wow if their is one thing you can count on sbynews for it is total lies and BS. Stevie Prettyman knew Julie and or Mike were going to be a threat to her and decided to use Joe Albero as her hitman like her clone Debbie Campbell.
I love how Joe defends his ladies like he is their pimp. Albero is scared shitless that his pals might not win in the election and people that know what a liar he is would have the power and would ignore him like they should. How can Albero "run" Wicomico County if his buddies aren't sitting in their respective chairs?.
I also like how tough guy Albero is going to show up tonight at the AFP meeting because he isn't afraid because he is big bad ass Joe. My bet is he shows up with step grandson as his shield again to keep the bad guys at bay. Go blow the other sheep up Joe and get rid of some of that hot air you are full of.
Davis Ruark Goes Hitler On His Staff UPDATE!!
I was waiting to see what sbynews was going to say about the situation involving the email Davis sent to his staff basically telling them that any current employee who plans to run against him in the upcoming election, they better resign now. This is directed toward Sam Vincent and I find this to be very disrespectful and I am shocked and disappointed at Davis for this political play.
Sam Vincent I have never met, but many high officials in different Counties have told me Sam Vincent is a man of the highest moral character and is a great Lawyer and friend. This is sad as I had hoped Davis would not resort to these petty little games in the election and just let the people decide who to vote for, but obviously he must feel threatened by Sam hence this ridiculous move.
I have lost alot of respect for Davis for this, and may just support Sam because of this behavior.
UPDATE: I emailed Davis about this and he got back to me and informed me this was miscontrued and that tomorrow the Daily Times will have his full response
Major Announcements Coming Next Week For Elections
I know several people that are waiting until July to make announcements for running for Office and it will be very interesting times. I will inform the public as soon as I hear.

Salisbury Grinch covering more areas
As I had started doing before, I am getting regular people from several different areas of lower Delmarva to contribute to what it's like in their particular neck of the woods. I have my Talbot County coverage back and will be adding Somerset this week. The majority of news will be from Salisbury of course, and we will never cover more than the Lower Delmarva area.
Wicomico County Council candidate Mike Calpino calls for more challengers in Election
In a letter to the editor for the Daily Times Mike Calpino, District 2 Wicomico County Council candidate, calls for more challengers in the upcoming County Council races.
"Yet in Wicomico County, the majority of incumbents remain unchallenged," Calpino states. "If the same people remain in power, they will do the same things tomorrow we complained about yesterday."
In an Election year that has seen unprecedented political activity, where people are attending rallies, going to budget meeting and expressing dissatisfaction, Calpino believes more people need to run for public office.
"Time is running short in this election cycle. Surely there are a handful of people in our county who embrace the principles of limited government, personal liberty and responsibility who will challenge the status quo. If no one runs and no one gets behind the challengers, our elections become a sham."
